Community Guidelines

Fridge is for useful recipes, honest food experiences, and respectful cooking communities.

Share what you have the right to share

Post your own recipes and media or content you are authorized to use. Credit inspiration when appropriate. Do not copy copyrighted recipe descriptions, photos, videos, branding, or paid content without permission.

Be accurate about food

• List all known ingredients, sauces, toppings, and meaningful preparation details.
• Do not claim a recipe is allergen-free, medically therapeutic, or guaranteed safe unless you can properly support that statement.
• Clearly label raw or undercooked ingredients and unusual safety risks.
• Do not post intentionally dangerous preservation, fermentation, canning, storage, cooking, poisoning, purging, or extreme-restriction instructions.

Health and crisis safety

Do not encourage self-harm, suicide, disordered eating, intentional poisoning, dangerous fasting, medical-treatment avoidance, or other conduct likely to cause serious injury. Fridge is not an emergency or medical service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States or Canada, call or text 988 for crisis support.

Respect people

No harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, doxxing, impersonation, or attacks based on protected characteristics. Do not publish another person’s private information, household activity, or image without appropriate permission.

No spam or manipulation

Do not use fake engagement, misleading links, repetitive promotions, fraudulent referrals, duplicate accounts, malware, scams, fabricated testimonials, or deceptive endorsements. Verified badges may not be imitated.

How moderation works

Members can privately report posts or profiles. Fridge may review relevant content and account history, hide or remove content, suspend accounts, preserve an audit record, and contact the parties involved. Reports do not guarantee removal. Repeated false or abusive reports may also lead to restrictions.

Appeals and urgent concerns

To appeal an action or report an urgent safety, impersonation, privacy, or copyright issue, contact support@usefridge.app with the username, post, issue, and supporting information.
