Delete a Fridge account

You can initiate deletion inside Fridge or request it from this public page if you can no longer access the app.

Request deletion in Fridge

1. Sign in to the Fridge account you want deleted.
2. Open Settings and choose Account.
3. Select “Request account deletion,” review what will be removed, and confirm.
4. Fridge will record the request and begin a seven-day cancellation window. Support may contact you if identity or billing must be resolved.

Request deletion without the app

Email from the address connected to your Fridge account. Include “Delete my Fridge account” and your Fridge username. If your account uses a phone number, provide only the last four digits until support explains a secure verification step.

What deletion covers

Deletion is intended to remove your account, private inventory, shopping information, personal meal plans, preferences, profile, saved data, household membership, and content associated with your account. Public posts and media will be removed or de-identified unless limited retention is required for a report, dispute, fraud prevention, payment record, legal obligation, or another legitimate reason described in the Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions and Family households

• Cancel an Apple, Google, or Stripe subscription through its billing provider; account deletion alone may not stop store billing.
• A Family owner may need to transfer ownership or end the household before deletion.
• Deleting one Family member does not delete other members’ separate accounts.

Verification and timing

We may verify that the request comes from the account owner. The app records a seven-day cancellation window so accidental requests can be recovered. We will explain the expected completion date and any information that must be retained.
